So Mom, uncle and aunt came back to visit us in May
With a busy schedule and very ambitious to go all 3 as large in New York and in New Orleans (this time accompanied by the father of Christopher).
They took us back lots of memories and juicy details of their epics: the discoveries of secret gardens and hotels improbable Manhattan and Brooklyn on the advice of Leon New York, visiting the old French quarter with a historian novelist of the time, Cajun restaurants, cocktail jazz and various ...
These trips were punctuated with stops in Washington that there were still places to discover: the Roosevelt Memorial, the Tidal Basin, a few museums, the National Park in the Shenandoah (where I very misjudged the difficulty of a ride, a little mess, fortunately Mom is a good walker), the Grotto of Luray absolutely extraordinary, Open doors day European embassies, the chutte Potomac.
And finally Mom's birthday with a surprise guest who has not had the last word!
